Dr. Thurai Athithan, also known as Dr. T Athithan, T Athithan and Thurairajasingam Athithan, is a Sri Lankan humanitarian and community leader dedicated to service, leadership and sustainable social development. Through Lions District 306 D10, Sri Lanka, he has been actively involved in community service initiatives, humanitarian activities and leadership development. His journey reflects a continuing commitment to serving communities and creating a positive social impact.
The Regional Advisers Meeting for Region 01, covering Zones 1, 2, and 3, was successfully held with representation from eight club Presidents, Secretaries, and Treasurers. I attended the session in my capacity as First Vice District Governor. We extend our appreciation to Regional Chairperson Lins Suthakaran, MJF, for his leadership.
As the 1st Vice District Governor, I attended the blood donation drive organized by the Lions Club of Batticaloa Spectrum for Humanity at the Batticaloa RDHS and commended the project chairperson for their exemplary coordination. Furthermore, I would like to express my appreciation for the initiative to distribute plants to donors in support of the “Clean Up Sri Lanka” campaign.
It was an honor to be part of the Lions International Multiple District D10 project to clean up the Kallady Bridge area as part of the Clean Up Sri Lanka initiative. I am so proud to have participated in this community project and truly appreciate the support of all the Lions Clubs involved. #LionsClub #Community #Service #Environment
